- Big enough to warm a grown-up or two kids; small enough for a four-year-old to navigate.
- Not too precious; can withstand the mud and peanut butter of our days.
- Machine washable.
- Unbulky; easily packable in a backpack, car, picnic basket.
- Heirloom quality; will last for generations.
We started by sourcing the highest quality flannel fabric we could find. It is incredibly soft and sturdy. Each side is different: one with sea blue, gunmetal, and beeswax plaid; the other carries tomato, ash, and goldenrod plaid. Finished with a thick flannel tape in a creamy laurel herringbone. The front and back flannels are stitched together (quilted but without the batting), creating a lovely drape, weight, and feel.

Snuggly
I keep carrying this blanket around with me! It comes outside to the campfire, to the deck on chilly mornings, to snuggle up on the couch (even fit with a kid!) I felt sort of silly buying a blanket during summer, but I do not regret it - it adds a perfect amount of warmth and folds up easily (or gets thrown over the couch) during the warmer parts of the day. I can only imagine it will be getting a lot more use this autumn.

I love this blanket. I Take it with me when I travel and use it every night. Great weight and size. My golden Ruby thinks it should be hers though and when I get out of bed this is her spot.

Isn’t that the caption on the Original Camp Blanket? Well guess what! It’s true!!! How could you not love this perfectly weighted, double-sided blanket? I hesitated for.ev.er. to buy this blanket. I finally purchased, and I’m so glad I did! The Original Camp Blanket (and the subsequent ones, I’m 100% sure) is everything Dig + Co stands for: quality, comfort, sustainability, local. I’ll be honest: I sleep with this blanket every night. It’s the perfect extra weight and go-to when I just need some coziness while reading or whatever. I love the OG print, but am eyeing the Cold Moonfor my kids’ lounging purposes (and they all have the Kangaroo Pillows which are a HIT with them, so why not throw in the blanket so they stop asking to borrow “mine”?).
