Little Fried Egg Apron
From pretend cooking with coffee grounds and dirt to the real deal in the kitchen, this eggie apron is perfect for the little chef in your life!
A cast iron skillet and fried egg are hand cut and machine stitched onto this sweet red cotton ticking apron. My daughters are impressed with the generously sized pocket, perfect for storing all the tiny objects they like to carry around. The waist ties and neck strap are constructed from thick, soft cotton webbing. And little hands love that the neck strap is velco and allows for easy adjustment. All by themselves.
- The appliqués will be hand cut and meticulously machine-stitched - with perfect thread tension, stitch length and attention to detail - ensuring the shape you choose looks the same after wear and wash.
- All appliqué fabrics are cut from designer knit fabrics; they will not fray. The outline will soften but the shape will remain crisp and in tact.
- 100% made in the USA: apron constructed in Seattle, WA / embellished in Missoula, MT
- Measurements: 22" high and 18" wide, the hem falls at or just above the knee, depending on your height. The ties are extra long so you can wrap and tie with ease.
With three kids and lots of cooking and laundry, we are pretty rough on things, but this little apron has withstood it all. Our favorite thing is the roomy well-placed pocket (Hide an egg! Store the measuring spoons! Tuck some herbs!) and the classic, timeless design. It looks adorable on both my son and daughters, and we have many more kitchen memories to make in it.
The apron has been a huge hit with my son. He loves to help me in the kitchen and garden, so I was excited to see how durable it is when it arrived. He's six now, and I can see him getting a few more years of use out of it before it is out grown. Though, I'm confident it will be in excellent condition for much longer than that. He likes that he can undo the next strap easily instead of putting it over his head, and he adores the "secret pocket" on the front.
