It's beautiful. So simple and sweet! But I think I may have purchased the wrong type of matches because when I try to use the striker, it just leaves a track/stripe from the match and no flame! : ( Any recommendations regarding type of match would be appreciated!

Glad you love the look! But the function needs to be there too :). You must use strike-anywhere matches. Regular matches will not light on ceramic.

Although it’s cute, this product does not work as a strike. Very disappointing. We’ve tried several different matches. And it’s very small. Not worth purchasing.

This is such a great product. It looks nice sitting out with my candles and I don’t have to go to the cupboard to find a lighter or matches. I purchased two for myself and have since bought another as a gift. The recipient loves it too.

I bought this as a gift at Christmas. It is adorable, and beautifully made, though smaller than it seemed from the pictures. My only complaint is that it isn’t very reliable as a striking surface for our strike anywhere matches. We’ve had to keep the match box handy nearby and use it about half the time.
