This right here is how I got to know Fat and the Moon products. I bought it years ago at a salon and it was 100% my favorite lip stuff ever. It lasted forever, until I lost it and then decided I should just carry it in our little shop here!
The color comes for alkenet and beetroot! It smells of rose geranium essential oil so you will love it if you love that smell (not everyone does I know!). It tints the lips that perfect winey pink and add a dewy blush to the cheeks.

Alkanet and beetroot give this stain its rich color and earthy scent, with just a touch of essential oil of rose geranium. Rose geranium is used in aromatherapy to reduce nervousness and tension, and has mild antibacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties which all aid in the overall health of the skin. A little dab of this stuff on the apples of your cheeks and on your lips adds just the right dose of color. Because of the beeswax, this stain has great staying power. Put a little on for a subtle effect or more for a lipstick like look.

I am loving this lip and cheek stain. The color is subtle but there and it lasts quite a while. I feel good about letting my daughter dabble with it as well. Will definitely re-order for gifts :)
This stain is so moisturizing and the color is perfect for all skin tones. I take it everywhere. And the smell is so yummy Perfect!
I love this stuff! It's the perfect amount of rosy and feels so luxurious on my cheeks and lips. The smell is lovely - rose geranium is one of my favorite scents. Bonus: darling packaging.
it’s easy and forgiving to apply (doesn’t go on too thick or dark), tastes great on the lips (the sweetness of the beets is lovely), is a beautiful color (just enough to add a natural-looking but darker rosy-ness to cheeks or lips), and I love the sheer but still substantial texture of it. the only reason I give 4 stars instead of five is that it needs to be reapplied more often than I’d like in order to keep its color (on my skin it seems to fade within an hour). but this could also be specific to my skin (winters are extremely dry here, so maybe my skin is drinking up the product really quickly).
United StatesI really like the stain, however, the cap doesn't stay on the tin at all. I've taken to keeping it in the box it came in so that it doesn't fall off in my bag. It's a bit of a nuisance.

Love the idea of this and the nice color it produces. It has a bit of a strange smell for me though for lipstick which is what I planned on using it for. Will try for blush instead.
