Handcarved by artisans in Kenya, this delicate spoon is ideal for coffee, dips, olives, and spreads. The handle is finished with batiked bone ( ethically sourced animal bones that would have otherwise been discarded) and is 8" long making it easy to reach into a jar.
What is Batik?
An traditional art process used in Africa. The patterns are applied by placing wax on the white bone and dipping the bone into a dark brown dye.
